Hello my beloved readers!
Here's another review for y'all...it's the Dolly Wink Volume Mascara
I got the one with the free Dolly Wink eyeliner.
In Japan, it's worth 1,575 yen, but my cousin bought this one in HK for HK$ 125 (Php 687.68)... wow! now that's quite a good buy for two Japanese products.
I'm not really a gyaru freak, but I'm a fan of this Japanese model, Tsubasa Masuwaka.
Look! She's even wearing the Princess Mimi circle lens..in the same color I have ;) Now, that's a coincidence. My cousin didn't even know that I have this pair of contacts.
The mascara! :p
Expecting a lot of volume in this kind of brush...
Yay! Free black liquid eyeliner :)
Actually, I was expecting it to be a felt tip one, but it's in a brush. Quite good also.
RESULTS:
*Left - Before applying the mascara; Right - After applying the mascara*
Top lashes
Bottom lashes
-THE VERDICT-
Pro's:
- It's waterproof and I didn't expect that from this product. Perfect for the Philippine weather.
- Affordable...well, in HK price.
- It gives a bit of length to my lashes.
- Dries quickly after applying.
Con's:
- It didn't give that much volume as expected. A bit disappointed about that.
- Here in the Philippines, this product can only be bought online in a very "rip-off" price :(((
OVERALL RATING: 3/5.
I love the fact that this mascara gave a bit of length to my lashes, which is very good for a doll-like effect to the eyes, but it's labelled as a volume mascara, too bad this didn't give any volume at all.
...and that's it for my review about this product.
What Dolly Wink products do you wanna try? I would really love to hear it from my readers.
'till next post! - k*
Nice lengthening effect. Not too little nor too much. :)
